Two twenty-somethings with no prior sailing experience. We got married in Montana, bought a sailboat in Washington, and went to sea!

We set sail with our friends in the Seattle area at the end of August, 2020. Since then we’ve successfully (sort of.. see our blog posts for some coast guard stories) sailed down the entire West Coast of the United States and are currently in San Diego, planning on going even further south into Mexico in the coming weeks!

Time spent in the marina La Paz is amazing. It’s a wonderful Mexican town full of life and tourism feels like the city’s side hustle instead of the in-your-face feel of Cabo.  We haven’t dipped into the touristy stuff aside from eating at some amazing restaurants.
